About us
The focus of ELLS is on joint teaching and learning. Attractive study programmes result from sharing of expertise and facilities of the ELLS partner universities. All joint ELLS study programmes are offered in English.
ELLS offers a broad range of study options to enhance student and teacher mobility. For short study periods abroad students may participate in several intensive programmes and summer schools and work on specific topics in an international group of fellow students and teachers. A large number of ERASMUS places facilitates semester exchange. Double degree programmes offer a structured study abroad period without problems of mutual recognition. Upon successful completion of these programmes students will be awarded a double diploma by two universities.
The annual ELLS Scientific Student Conference provides a forum for undergraduate and graduate students to present research papers and posters and to receive critical feedback from peers and experts in their field.
The ELLS network remunerates excellent performance: The ELLS Prize for Excellent Master Theses honours excellent Master theses in the area of life sciences. Students presenting the best speeches or the best posters at the ELLS Scientific Student Conference will receive the ELLS Student Presentation Prizes.
